In August 2007
the 50th Anniversary of the 1957 Round Australia Rally will be celebrated by a re-enactment of the Rally in a replica “Tail End Charlie”. The basic original course will be followed, covering some 15,000 klms, however the time frame will be limited to daylight travelling, taking 38 days to complete the course.

The Official Start
is on August 19th from the Bunnings Warehouse at Cranbourne, South East of Melbourne travelling clockwise to Western Australia. The WA send-off will be from Bunnings Store, Midland on August 28th.....more/
